I was born in Negeri Sembilan,
Malaysia in 1964 - orang kampong :-). Loved every minute of my childhood in the village...
all the fun I had playing in the monsoon rain, catching fish in the rice field, climbing
up coconut and guava trees, collecting firewood in the forest and helping out my mother in
the rubber plantation on weekends/during school holidays etc, etc
...it was adventurous indeed! |

I have plenty to tell my
children and my grandchildren about life in the village when back then I didn't have
"Lego" or "Barbies" to play with ...but a lot of that good old nature
stuff. |
I graduated in 1988 from the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge,
USA.
A a few weeks before graduation I met the love of my life ...it was love at first sight!!!
End of 1989 I left everything behind in Malaysia to join him in Heidelberg, Germany.
1990 I married Uwe. We are blessed with 2 beautiful children, Nira and Daniel.It is amazing how my mother managed to raise 9 children - now she
has 33 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren! ...
